When Jesus stood in front of the Roman official who ordered his death, he was accused of “stirring up the people” or causing an uprising (Luke 23:1-5). This is because Jesus challenged people to rise up against traditions and cultures that were pulling people away from God, to learning a lifestyle of Loving God and loving others. It is for this reason that we call our student ministry “The Uprising.” We want to continue the uprising that Jesus started. Our goal is to seek to understand the same truths that He lived and taught, and we want to live it out in our own lives. Join us on the Wednesday in the Student Center: 7:00 – 8:30
