On Sundays...

Our services begin at 9 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.
Our nurseries serve children through preschool age
Kid’s Church is provided for children in kindergarten through 5th grade
Both our nursery and Kid’s Church take place at the same time as adult services
All children are checked in at our designated nursery and Education Wing areas and can be picked up exactly where they are dropped off
Our Sunday services usually last between 75 – 90 minutes
During our 10:40 a.m. service, all middle school students are dismissed after our worship time for a class in the Students Ministry Hallway, classroom SM1
“Adult Bible Fellowships” (Sunday School) are offered immediately after the 9 a.m. service from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. and just prior to the 10:40 service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the Student Ministries Center

On Wednesdays...

Our mid-week service begins at 7 p.m. and concludes at 8:30 p.m.
Our typical service begins with worship and is followed by class options for the adults that are six-weeks in length
Childcare for infants through preschool is provided at our nursery and Royal Rangers and Mpact Girls Clubs are ministries provided for all other children beginning in kindergarten
Youth Activities are provided every Wednesday in the Student Ministries Center (6th – 12th grade)

On Saturdays...

church922, our Saturday evening service begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Worship Center.
The church takes on a different feel during this service with music that is dynamic and engaging.
Childcare and kids’ church through grade 5 is available

It is always my great pleasure to have guests visiting with us at Christ's Chapel. My biggest hope is that you will receive a friendly welcome and that the service will be both inspiring and encouraging.

Announcements about upcoming events appear on the large screens in the Main Worship Center before each service.

CHURCH NEWS is a tool used during the service to make announcements and give other church information

Our CHURCH BULLETIN is printed for our Sunday morning services and contains an abundance of information including service times, contact information and upcoming events.

On the 1st Sunday of each month, we have a focus on missions. We often have a missionary guest who takes a few minutes to share details regarding their ministry. Also on this Sunday, we receive a special missions offering including buckets being passed through aisles in which our children gather our spare change.This in turn is used to provide equipment for those in the missions field.

Congregational communion takes place on the last Sunday of each month.

Christ’s Chapel also has a River Campus located in Newport at 13th and Monmouth Streets.

BIKERS’ CHURCH is available on Sunday evenings for those seeking an evening service. You do not have to be a biker to attend. Everyone is welcome.

OUR WORSHIP

During our times of worship, you may notice that many people choose to stand. You may choose to join us or to remain seated. The choice is yours.

COFFEE BAR

A coffee bar is available in the foyer. There is no cost for coffee and you may feel free to take items into the Main Worship Center. Other items at the bar may be purchased for a nominal fee.

WELCOME CENTER

Our Welcome Center is located in the church foyer. It is staffed with knowledgeable individuals who can assist you with any questions that you may have including maps of our facility to help you navigate the campus.

CONNECTION CARD

If this is your very first time visiting with us, we would appreciate you filling out a “Connection Card”. These are located in the back pocket of the seat in front of you. You may drop this in the offering bag, or take it to our Welcome Center where you will receive a small gift in return.

PRAYER

Personal prayer is available for those who desire. During worship, you will notice several groups of individuals gathering in front of the stage. These are members of our Prayer Team who provide prayer for individual needs during this time.

ATTENDANCE

Following our time of worship, our ushers will pass out little black books. These are used to record attendance. If you would be so kind, please sign in each week and pass the book down the row. Sitting on the end? You may place the book on the floor next to your seat when finished.
