Uprising Youth - Speed the Light

This Wednesday, January 25th, Christ's Chapel's Youth will hear from our District Youth Director, Brian Neugent and Youth Alive Director, Rodney Goodlett, as they share with us the vision of Speed The Light.

Last year Christ's Chapel gave over $9,000 to Speed The Light which enabled pastors and church leaders in Cuba to be trained in the ministry. There will be free pizza, and the students will get the opportunity to win an iPad! We hope all students (grades 6-12) can make it this Wednesday. The fun begins at 7:00

The year was 1998 and we had recently moved into our current sanctuary. It had been a big step of faith for us, nearly tripling our mortgage payment. Our attendance and income had yet to see the anticipated increase and we were simply holding our collective breath.

Basic with Francis Chan

Pastor Terry and Craig Moore are co-teaching a class called BASIC on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. This series will present some foundational lessons that are relevant for all believers and we will be using some recent videos created by Francis Chan.

The people of Christ's Chapel and Full Gospel Assembly of God in Newport have voted to become the first satellite campus of Christ's Chapel. Steve and Daniele Axtell will serve as site pastors for the River Campus. Learn more about the River Campus here.

Christ’s Chapel began in January of 1986 in the gymnasium of Burlington Elementary School. A total of 13 met for that first service with a passion to pioneer a new church in Northern Kentucky. Our goals were simple, to walk a journey of faith and discover practical ways to love God openly and love people genuinely.
In March of 1987 our place of worship moved to the auditorium of Dixie Heights High School in Crestview Hills and would remain there for six years.

In 1993 we built our initial facility followed by our current sanctuary four years later. In 2006 we expanded again with additional classrooms, nurseries and a complete remodeling project.
Our current campus is over 13 acres that includes a day care (Cornerstone Child Development Center), a home for young pregnant women in crisis (Mercy Maternity Home), a home for foreign missionaries while on furlough and a baseball/soccer field used by the Boone County Recreational League.
